On schedule C and Schedue E, there are two questions concerning the taxpayer filing 1099s.
One says were you required to file 1099's and the second one asks if you did file the 1099's.
On the input sheet, I only see one question. When I market it "no" thinking I am answering the requirement question, the software is answering the question about being required yes and the question about filing "no".
I need to know what to mark so that I am not required to file 1099's
