How do we add explanatory line items? For example, if we want to show compensation paid to US citizen employees employed by a foreign subsidiary in 5471,Sch C, line10

Is there a way to add additional explanations that are printed as a part of the return. As an example, if we want to show compensation paid to US citizen employees employed by a foreign subsidiary in 5471,Schedule C, line10, how do we show it? Is there an option to add certain additional text anywhere or we can click on the + and add the description and amount and then force the software to print this with the return?

The description you enter in the breakdown is purely for your internal reference and will not be printed as part of the return.

Volunteering unnecessary information may have the opposite effect of helping your client if the return is selected for audit.  What is your purpose for breaking out compensation paid to US citizens?

If you must, you can attach a PDF to the return.
