This is very frustrating. The 2022 form 5471 (rev Dec 2022) is available but the instructions are not (rev Jan 2022) so the form is not working in proconnect yet.
I have a client desperate to file ASAP. Is this normal?
This is a user supported forum. There is nothing we can do about it. Patience. Generally updates are done once a week, but often in the heat of the season, more often. Patience.
Read the diagnostics carefully. If only the instructions are not available, you can still e-file.
It says "This form is final and watermarked Do not file or This form is not available pending receipt of instructions". Seems pretty cryptic. Most of the sections on the 5471 don't show up in proconnect at all so e-file is not possible.
