form 1099-B

I have a client who recieved a form 1099-B for 2022 after his return was filed.  I included the date on this years return. I am getting an error message because it show the date of sold was 12/19/2022.  Does this mean I need to ammend his 2022 tax return?

Yes... 

You can't put last year's info on this year's return.
