Sunny and 81 today, here in Phoenix. I've had to run the A/C at the office and in the car, some afternoons this month. I appreciate your sympathy, it's the best time of the year and I'm stuck inside doing tax returns. Some days I miss the cold and moderate amounts of snow in places I have lived in other winters, like Illinois and the DC area. But this second blizzard of the season, on much of the East Coast, must be making life miserable for many tax preparers. When schools are closed, "snow days" are added to the calendar in spring. But I don't expect IRS to extend April 15 -- well, maybe for some people if disasters are declared, but doesn't that mean FEMA would have to get back to work?
Don't forget to tip the people who shovel your snow, and get their SSN so you can send a 1099.
There is only a 11 degree difference here - or are you referring to outside temperatures? If that is the case, then there is a 71 degree difference. It feels a little chilly since we had 40 degree plus temperatures a week ago so we have to get re-acclimated to the normal Northern Minnesota type weather. We had about a foot of wet, heavy snow on Wednesday but the folks up the North Shore of Lake Superior had about 3 feet. A foot of the wet stuff is an inconvenience, but 3 feet of the stuff does make things a little more difficult for a day or two.
