Has anyone switched from Lacerte to ProConnect Tax recently? Any insights, opinions? I am semi-retired and ProConnect Tax is significantly less expensive for the number of returns I prepar. Have used Lacerte for 25+ years!

Try ProConnect™ Tax
Just log on with your user name & password and give it whirl. DO NOT PRINT. DO NOT e-FILE. Unless you really want to pay for a return.
I have used Lacerte longer than you. ProConnect will cost you time, instead of money. It does not have have many of the defaults that come with Lacerte. Look at https://proconnect.intuit.com/community/proconnect-tax-idea-exchange/idb-p/605 to see what users want to have added.
Input is similar, but clunkier.
Set up a dummy return with a few stock sales, a rental or business with a few depreciable assets and then CHECK RETURN.
