Autofill birth year showing wrong century

Please change the programming when entering a birthday. Right now if the individual was born before 1973 you must enter all 4 numbers in order for them to not be born in the future. If you enter 010170 for January 1st, 1970 it instead will show up as 01/01/2070.

I don't know why 1973 was chosen as the year that if someone was born before then that their century will be chosen as the 21st instead of the 20th. I understand if the individual is over 100 years old that you would need to specify. If 1973 can be chosen as the random year of century determination, why not make the year 1925 or 1926?
