Use Windows. Got to settings > Devices > Printers > find Lacerte Tax PDF x.x click , then choose Remove Device . Confirm the remove.
Go back to Lacerte and try printing to pdf. This will install a maybe new (mine just went from 4.0 to 4.5 pdf driver).
It's a problem with Lacerte printing:
Preparer copy to pdf and Client copy to Smartvault. When we do this, the preparer copy does not print to pdf.
If we only print the preparer copy to pdf, it works fine.
Not sure how to fix. Seems like a bug.
