Does anyone know what Trustee Right would limit our Lacerte users ability to change the clients bank account direct deposit information?
Thanks!
I'm 99% sure that there isn't one. Trustee rights are for non-data entry sections/use of Lacerte, not for locking staff out of changing certain data entry. I think it's a matter of 1) proper education of your team (to not change stuff on Screen 3 w/o authorization), 2) setting different font colors for pro-forma'd vs. entered data, 3) putting sufficient review in place, 4) communicating to clients their job of verifying the FinTransSummary info on signing, and ultimately 5) trusting your team.
