If a client had W-2Gs scanned into Lacerte in 2022 and they are carried over to 2023 the system doesn't let you enter them manually. You cannot tab from line to line to enter information, and as you try to enter the W-2Gs it then goes to Lacerte Not Responding.
This does not happen for W-2Gs that were not scanned in 2022
I have worked around this by copying the 2022 file, deleting all the W-2Gs (154) and then carrying it over. I then entered 2023 manually because I had too many issues with the scanning system last year.
