When Lacerte's update dialog notice appears, it shows in the lower right-hand portion of my Lacerte window/screen. It greys out the screen until I click on the update notice. That's normally ok, but in Windows 11 sometimes the screens are arranged where the update notice dialog is not accessible (off the screen's view). That makes it a problem because the Lacerte window can't be clicked (it's greyed out) to move it back to where I can access the update dialog. I was able to use a key combination of Alt + Tab and then Alt + Spacebar to access the Lacerte window and move it with the directional keys to get it back into focus. I hope this helps someone who might experience the same frustration.
There are many Lacerte dialogue windows that leave a lot to be desired. Many open in the background like this & can't be brought forward because Lacerte is stuck waiting for you to respond to the prompt (and then the software takes 5 or 10 or more minutes to force close via the task manager), or others open randomly and if they do so whilst you are typing, your keystrokes trigger a response to the dialogue window before you even know it's there. I don't have high hopes for corrections.
