Taxpayer has two first names and no middle name. How do I make the Form 114Aa show the name correctly?

This question has been raised by others as well.  The way Lacerte and PTO are programmed, the second string of letters is taken as the middle name and that gets abbreviated into an initial.  Unless there is a hyphen between the names, you won't get the names to appear the way they should on either FinCEN Form 114 or 114a.

If you or your client are a stickler, you could consider filing the form directly with BSA.
