We are long time Lacerte users and recently got a trial for Tax Import Scan. We've spent many hours with Lacerte support to no end trying to get it to work. In a nutshell: Tax Scan does not seem to send the selected file and there is no status shown in the appropriate column for the client.
Details:
- Select Import, Tax Import Scan...
- it take sometimes in excess of 3 minutes for the dialog to post (probably an indication of an underlying problem itself)
- select the option to send the test file
- submit it and wait - nothing happens and nothings shows up in the status column
When you try to close Lacerte the messages "There are Tax Import jobs that are still uploading... do you..." appears.
We've done everything per support and the KB articles and still no dice (firewall setup, registry changes, etc, etc, etc).
Can anyone shed any light on this in a Lacerte client server setup.
