do you think you can deduct upfront membership fee to Lifestyles Unlimited that is a mentor and real estate group teaching you how to get rich? This is for a real estate broker looking to expand his business into other areas. It is a pretty large upfront fee.

It is either education for a change in occupation which is not deductible.

Sounds like they are teaching how they get rich from suckers that want to be rich. George posted while I was posting so i’ll go with his “no” vote unless you provide me more info to convince me to vote in the other direction.
