Efile won't work because it says there is a more current version. However, when I hit tools to do the update I get a message that says error....try again later.

Exit the program.
Use Windows key and type 2024 Lacerte Web Setup to install again.
Once install restart the computer.
HOPEFULLY the auto update will start working.
It should be automatic per https://accountants.intuit.com/support/en-us/help-article/update-products/new-2024-lacerte-silent-up...
