Is there a screen in Lacerte that we go to check a box that the taxpayer is a victim of a California Wildfire (for example) and has been granted extra time - until November 15th to file (due to being evacuated out of their home for more than 3 weeks - I cannot seem to find anything in Lacerte on this even though I have read what the IRS has published.

The IRS automatically does it based on Zip Code.

The IRS automatically identifies taxpayers located in the covered disaster area and applies filing and payment relief. But affected taxpayers who reside or have a business located outside the covered disaster area should call the IRS disaster hotline at 866-562-5227 to request this tax relief.
