I am unable to install Lacerte 2016 using either the Web Setup or the CD Image on a new Windows 10 machine. The installer opens to the "Welcome to Lacerte" page, but clicking "Next" only refreshes this page and I can't move to the next steps. Anyone else have this issue? Any suggestions for forcing the install?

Tech support was able to troubleshoot for me. The solution was to create a new folder in C:\Lacerte named "16tax", then paste the 2016 PREP file in there. The install worked immediately after that. Thank you!
I tried this, but it did not work.

That did not work either. Here is a link to a video showing what happens when I try to install it. I try to click "Next" and the screen just blinks briefly.
I had this installed previously on my computer, but had to reformat it this week. I was able to install all other versions of the software from 2010 to 2019 today, except 2016. This is the only year I am having trouble with.
