There MIGHT be a problem with your Anti Virus software. If it persists, turn off the AV software while you install.

The link to the first article is broken, taking me to a page that says "Accounting Help has moved," and directing me to another search page. Will you re-share that article? I tried searching for the error I'm getting "Please wait while we launch lacerte" but this appears to be the only relevant post anywhere in the top of my search results, so I'm not seeing the original article you're referencing.
2018 is the only Lacerte software giving me this problem. I have tried rebooting, and reinstalling 2018 (with a subsequent req'd reboot). No success, so I'm curious what other steps there might be.
There are so many "solved" postings that are no longer solved because they link to "Accounting Help has Moved." So many.
There are even links within the Lacerte program that take me to the Accounting Help has Moved.
Intuit/Proconnect/Lacerte really should have found a way to automatically forward these links...
Or, at least make is so that old links no longer show up high on searches only to lead you nowhere and have the question marked as solved (since it no longer is).
Anyone know how to input the new link? Is there a consistent patter to the renaming?
