Does anyone know if Lacerte supports, and if so how to file, a superseded partnership return? Thankfully only a reallocation of capital between some partners (not effect taxable amounts), yet Ugh! And would like to make right. Per Spidell you can file superseded returns up to the filing date, yet have never done so.

Lacerte does not support superseded returns. You can prepare it, mark it superseded and mail it.
The more I know the more I don’t know.

Do you if you must obtain a waiver from the IRS if the partnership was required to E-File the return and Lacerte does not allow electronically filed superseded returns? It appears the IRS says business rules are enforced for e-filing original returns and superseding returns.

Nevermind, I will just print the waiver request as it is easy to do.

Lacerte now allows superceded returns.
