Works for me. What problem are you having?
I gave up. They have it working for turbo tax but not for lacerte.
Are you trying to use tax import or are you downloading the excel file from Schwab. I do the download and it works fine with the instructions I posted.
I don't think tax import is accurate enough that I trust it. I still believe I can use paper to eye to fingers to program quicker than I can do a scan and trust the input created.
I only want to use tax import. I know the totals will match. It's a no brainer, as there are too many transactions to use anything other than tax import. I find I must use Form 8453 via the mails. I am paying Intuit for something they should include in the fee that they charge. Someone just dropped the ball when it came time to program the system. Maybe it will be corrected on theri next update, which is March 5.
The 8453 is not necessary. If all the transactions are covered, you can simply input two lines - on ST with totals and on LT with totals. I use sale date of -010121 and purchase date of -010100 for LT and -010121 for ST.
If you need to do more you can attach a pdf to e-file.
