We are on an office network with 8 computers. Lacerte stays open even when you exit. Tried waiting. a few minutes then logging in and it still comes up with the same user. Tried shutting down rebooting no luck same user. I have season support staff morning shift and evening shift evening cannot log in since it will not let you. it saves the same user. What a mess. Did not have any luck with tech support.
Anyone else have issues? Also this morning it took 10 minutes to get a verification go to log in.
thx

I have noticed that there are times both when opening and when closing that Lacerte sends up a 2nd screen that is behind the main screen. I finally learned to use Alt + Tab to be able to see the open screens and find the miscreant pain in the patootie screen that Lacerte though was so imported for me to see hidden in the bowels.
Alternatively just use Ctrl + Alt + Del to start taskbar to close Lacerte, which should also close that other bothersome pest.
Here is an example that blocks the Lacerte program. This time it did "almost" show up in front of Lacerte, but as usual it does not format so I can see what the choices are, Nor can I find that DON'T EVER SHOW THIS AGAIN box.
I'm having the same issue but only on one computer. Anyone come up with anything yet? I have shut down the computer and left it off for a bit and then booted up but it still had the prior user logged in WITHOUT asking for a password.
This is a problem when sending docusigns because they get returned to the wrong email address.

Contact Support Give them a call and they can walk you through.
Last year they had to do an override and completely take us off the system that lets you log in 1 and you don't have to log in to the other years. They could not get it to work and with 8 computers I found it to be a security risk. Anyone could open Lacerte it would not shut down I tried everything. paid my tech dept and Intuit could not fix it. They were not happy to do it but I said talk to my insurance company and explain it to them. how anyone can access information. So needless to say we don't have their 1 time log in this year.
