    Can I force schedule 1 to print in Lacerte

    You may not. Lacerte will follow the IRS instruction and generate when applicable. If you want you can always print a blank form.

    Another option is to put $1 in miscellaneous income. It won't be blank, but it'll print, and shouldn't change the bottom line balance due/refund.

    2019 we needed Schedule 1 because it had the virtual currency question. 2020 it is not needed for that since the question moved to page 1 of the 1040. 

    Why do you want to force Schedule 1?
