This was an LTUG post which needs to be elevated. The more of us who express our anger, the louder we will become.
I recognize that this is a work in process but your decision to make all your users BETA testers makes me, and your user base, very angry. Especially those that work in network environments. The system may work for single user customers.
I also recognize that my message will not reach the appropriate level in your organization. That makes me, and your user base, angry.
In other words, your company credibility is trashed.
@IntuitGabi is looking into this and similar cases. Hopefully a resolution is near the end of the pipeline. I was ready to post this at 8:40AM PST, but it appear the site broke again. My guess - too many complaints and not enough answers to close the thread.
EDIT: The post took 34 minutes to post. Have you noticed the Community crashing?
"Have you noticed the Community crashing?"
Nope. But that's because I still get "access denied" frequently. I am now doing what I think was your suggestion: Click something, go away for 20 minutes.
Just to add to things, one of our machines showed the previous version and when we went to go to update, message came up saying that the updates are automatic and your on the latest version and showed the previous update version number. Had to get out and do the Lacerte Web Setup to get it up to the correct version. Fun.
Hello, checking in for an update, are any of you still experiencing these issues?
The most recent update finally resolved this for us. It makes me angry how much IT time we burned all those weeks that Lacerte techs were telling us it was due to a Windows 11 security issue. I proved to a tech on my PC that it was Lacerte by showing her how it operated perfectly with Lacerte 2018 to 2023 (Yes, I made her watch me check for updates on 6 years) while 2024 failed. She still tried to tell me that it was a Windows 11 security issue.
Truly disappointed in Lacerte.
We are waiting to see what today's update brings...

LOL, that is not the case because that would mean they tested it with Alpha testers first. Intuit clearly doesn't test anything before releasing it.
