Is there an easy way to attach a form to an Efiled, state return?

To a return already efiled (you used the past tense), no.
To a return which is intended to be efiled, yes.
Go to input page 4.4 (in the INDividual program; may be different in other modules), click on the button at the top of the page, select the file you want to attach.
Set the "attach to federal return" to "no".
Scroll down to the state to which you want the file to be attached, and fill in whatever indicators are needed (varies by state).

Same answer, different module.
In the S-corp module, it is input page 3.2 instead of 4.4 (IND).
Click on the button to attach, browse to and select the file. Scroll down to the specific state's section--EACH state will have its own set of codes--and select the "include with THIS one", and fill in whatever identifying information that state uses (some use selector boxes, some have type-in fields). And again, remember to UN-check the "include with federal return" box.

OMG! If that was any simpler, it would have jumped off the page and hit me on the side of the head!
Been in that section 1,000 times and never noticed that PDF button
Thanks!
