Why hasn't Lacerte figured out how to send an update or allow for a calculation override for 2024 decedents before the 2024 program is released? Many of us have returns due in the fall before the release date, and it isn't best practices to extend just because Lacerte doesn't want to patch the program. I was told by support to fill out a paper return. This is unacceptable - why pay for the program then?
Lacerte needs to figure this out - anyone know how to get this message to programmers?
