I'm late getting organizers out due to an illness and so now am trying to get them out in a hurry this week. I've edited the questionnaire and the client letter, I've transferred the 2024 data to the 2025 program. However, when I print the organizers, the 2024 data is not populating. Appropriate forms are present for specific clients and data such as interest, dividends and employers appear but the prior year amounts are all blank.
Has anyone had this issue? I had the same problem last year but failed to notice it until the organizers were already sent to clients. I've used Lacerte for 30 years and have never had this issue prior to last year.
There is... not "organizer settings". It's when you go to 'print' - under Organizer Print Options. Check the box to *Display prior year amounts*.

2) DID you pick "complete" organizer vs 'blank'?

Yes to all of the questions that you asked.
I had a Lacerte agent on the call, in fact six agents.
The last agent said that the engagement letter was causing the prior year not to print, as the prior year printed before I added the engagement as several Lacerte support agents said I was foolish not to use the engagement letter instead of using my engagement letter and changing the name of the client and the address each time.

The engagement letter does not impact/change the organizer - at least not in my system nor has it for the last 20+ years I've been using it/them.
The Engagement letter is a 'blank aka proforma' in the organizer area. You edit it/add to it/ etc then save it as YOUR version. Lacerte/Intuit does not provide any wording (legal reasons, I'm sure).
The Lacerte agent advised me that the engagement letter was causing the error. The organizer printed perfectly before I revised the engagement letter as I was advised that using the intuit link and inserting my engagement letter into the Lacerte program would save me time.
I agreed that it never caused errors in the past but 2024 organizers was a differrent story.
I thought Lacerte was giving me good advise but alas it was not.
