Organizer Default Questionnaire asks about 2018 gifts of over 13K. But the limit is 15K! (This is in the 2017 1040 software.)

Not to pile on...but mine show $ 15000 too.  Is it possible you carried forward an edited version of the questionnaire from a prior year?

Just to clarify - My organizer says
"Did you or your spouse make any gifts to an individual that total more than [ORGGIFTS]"

That's what I do too, even with my heavily modified questionnaire.  I transfer it from year to year, but I do always review the default to see if I need to add anything the Lacerte considers "new & important".
