New 8283 Input Screen 26.1 Problems

The inputs for Form 8283 screen 26.1 has changed in Lacerte 2024.

The Charities for Form 8283 are no longer linked to the table editor, so the addresses have to be looked up somewhere and keyed by hand each and every time. This will be very time consuming.

Since last week, the old 8283 table has disappeared, but it was no longer linking to the new input screen anyway.

Also, when you key the contribution date, the default year is 2025, not 2024. We shouldn't be forced to key a year - it should automatically know it is for the tax year 2024.

Can we get this corrected ASAP.  Form 8283 has many changes in the 2024 program.  We need to go back to what it was in prior years.
