Anyone know if Tech Support is aware of any issues regarding locking and unlocking clients in Lacerte? Keep getting an error when trying to lock or unlock a client in Client Status that client is currently in use. I don't have time for extra steps.
I am having the same problem. I found a workaround if you go to client tab in top left and lock from there. I have not contacted support for a solution.

I had a problem locking an Scorp return, keep getting that error that the file was being used. I did call Tech Support and they are aware of the issue, and they gave me that work around you mention.
