Our Lacerte 2023 has experienced few randomly automatically checked box.
Individual return SCH E and K1, it will automatically checked "Real estate Professional"
C Corporation 5472 screen 8 will automatically checked "Reporting corporation is a foreign-owned US disregarded entity treated as a corporation under Section 6038A"
S Corporation screen 42.011 will automatically checked " change control or ownership"
In addition, we rely on Lacerte's software to schedule the estimated tax for client. unfortunately the payment did go through, when we called IRS, IRS said no record at all. In addition, we used Lacerte to schedule the NJ state extension payment for s corporation. the extension due date should be 3/15, however, Lacerte withdrawal the fund on 4/15. it cause a late pay penalty.
