Lacerte Requiring Anyone Who Pays California SDI in excess of $9,999 to paper file. Anyone else run into this? I called the CA Franchise Tax Board and they were unaware of any issue which leads me to believe this is a Lacerte issue.

From Spidell's message board, it appears to be a Lacerte issue.

Have you tried disabling the efile diags & sending?  

Or maybe try Susan's excellent suggestion.

@rklcorp Thank you for posting your question, this should be addressed on this week's update which is tentatively scheduled for tomorrow.   The update will allow returns with this situation to be electronically filed.  I will respond to this post if I find out differently.
