Client for decade plus. Local paper file city for the entirety. Opening 2024 application and city fails to populate Forms. The place I had to add it was in Details > Client Information.
The resident city and the city returns were still there, but the returns didn’t print. Has anyone experienced similar? Is this a Known Issue @IntuitAlicia

@IntuitAliciaThanks for the prompt response. After further testing, it seems the issue is related to poorly timed proforma data for the client. Re-running the proforma for the client doesn’t result in the vanishing city in 2024. Looks like I spun the roulette wheel of proforma and lost this season. Alas, if only Intuit software existed in a consistent state. Who am I kidding? Be well.
@User FIDO 61In addition to adding the city to the state inventory in Screen 1, Client Information. Also, make sure you have the city set up in Screens 54. The following article provides additional details regarding the city setup in Lacerte:

If you have more than one city listed and a generic form is present, make sure you're not overlooking a drop-down window in the upper right portion of the form's task bar. Based on the image you shared, I don't think this is the case here. It's more likely missing from Screen 54.123.

@User FIDO 61Thanks for the update. Based on what you shared I checked to see if we had any Ohio City proforma updates and I found that this was identified earlier in season.
If you have any other Ohio returns that contain a city, you may want to double check your proforma date. This was addressed in a 2023 program update available late January.
