Long shot here... Has anyone experienced the K1 bookmark error going from S-Corp/Partnership to Individual tax types? I've run the PDF repair, downloaded the Lacete Hub and ran all of those repairs. This error has escalated from just being an annoying pop up to now saying data is corrupt and freezing the preparer's computer to the point of having to hard restart. Our firm IT can't figure it out, and Lacerte IT hasn't been much help. We are on a shared network, but her computer is the only one it does it to. We've gone as far as getting her a brand new computer, using someone else's Windows' login and Lacerte login to see if it was something corrupt in the user profile. Still getting the same errors. We've moved the computer to a different office and had her login there, still same result.
This week, when she went into a client's 2019 1040, it wiped the info out of the return, but kept the e-file status. Looking at the client log, the last thing that happened was back in 2020 when the return was printed to PDF. She had the same thing happen to an S-Corp return in TY 2020 program the next day. It is changing things on the network, not just her computer for this.
If anyone has any ideas, I'm all ears. This has been a thorn in our sides all tax season.
