You would use the appropriate module for the type of entity for the year IN WHICH THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINS.
If I am reading your question correctly, you want 2019 Lacerte - either Partnership, S-Corp or Fiduciary.
A K-1 is a byproduct of a 1065, or 1120s, or 1041. You need to prepare the applicable tax return before you can obtain the mystical K-1.
