Is Lacerte Software going to provide an efficient/effective means to file protective claims for 2018 returns as it relates to the limitation on state and local taxes?

I do. The states filing the lawsuits claim the new tax change (limitation) is unconstitutional. If eventually deemed unconstitutional, to me, that suggests it would be retroactive.
