We attempted to e-file our Form 7004 with a payment through the Lacerte electronic payment portal. Once it was received at Lacerte, it was rejected...ERO PIN missing. We confirmed the ERO PIN was now entered, but on the diagnostics screen the e-file rejection message still appears. Generally, when a diagnostic is "fixed" it goes away.
Will this message only go away once we resubmit the extension/payment? We hesitated to resubmit too quickly - we didn't want the extension payment to be duplicated...
Any thoughts?
