Per Spidell Flash Alert, filing has been suspended is on hold due to a case out of Texas.
(edited as evidently 'suspended' is the wrong word to have used)
A federal district court in Texas issued a nationwide preliminary injunction against enforcing the beneficial ownership reporting requirements mandated by the Corporate Transparency Act (CTA). (Texas Top Cop Shop v. Garland (December 3, 2024) U.S. Dist. Ct., Eastern Dist. Of Texas, Case No. 4:24-CV-478)

My bad, then. This forum is wonky (for me anyway) regarding access to page two. I promise to do better in the future.

As reported earlier in the existing thread.
But that one is on its second page, so maybe a new one was needed.
Filing has not been suspended. Enforcement has been suspended, but nothing could be done until next year anyway. Get it right, don't just try to get it fast.

In my response to the other thread, I wondered if Treasury was included as a defendant. I have now paid PACER 20 cents to download the proposed order, and find that both Treasury and FinCen are named. And the proposed order (apparently, not yet signed; the judge could change its wording) is:
"the Court GRANTS the motion and ORDERS that
Defendants shall be preliminarily enjoined from enforcing the Corporate Transparency Act, 31 U.S.C. § 5336, and its implementing regulations, 31 CFR § 1010.380, pending further proceedings. "

I find it interesting 'this' is marked as the solved/best answer
I didn't do that; I was under the impression that only the OP was allowed to do that.
I wouldn't want 'anyone' thinking I'm trying to pad my statistics 😉

Champs and George can do it. I don't know, maybe George is an undercover Champ since he has never disclosed how he came upon the powers to mark posts as solved.

Oh.....that's right. Champs have those special powers. That offer was so long ago & I had zero interest in it.
I've always thought it was tacky to solve your own post.

"I've always thought it was tacky to solve your own post"
I did it once or twice ---------------- just to point out how stupid it is to be able to do that.
