California Targeted Tax Area credit shown on 1120S but does not belong

Glitch.

$1 credit is listed even though the credit doesn't belong.

There is no input in the return for this credit.  And it can't be overridden on CA 47.011

I think this is related to the CA PTET.

Found this, we did have a report of a dollar credit carryover showing on the General Info for Target Are a Credit when no input was present. Could that be what you were seeing?  It was fixed on February 24, 2022 (Version 42.0224)

@IntuitAlicia

Tech support hung up on me two times.  Each time after 25 minutes.  What gives?

And they don't call back.

Aarrghhh

This stupid ghost $1 is gonna drive me bonkers

@Strongsilence-CPAJust noticed this. Is it still happening? Where are you seeing the dollar on the return? Sounds familiar, but I'm not able to locate it in a dummy file. I set up a PTET just in case it was related to the form being present.
