    California SMLLC form 568 for Fiduciary Return

    Hi, all,

    Is it possible to generate Form 568 for California SMLLC owned by a testamentary trust from the fiduciary module?

    If not, can how can I prepare Form 568 through Lacerte?

    You can answer the first question by going to the Forms view and looking to see if the 568 is there. It is not, so you can not do the 568 in the Fiduciary

    To e-file, you would have to do a partnership return and generate the 568 in it. Screen 1 check the box for CA only.  Alternatively do it on paper via pdf form from the CA website and mail it. You would need to request an e-file waiver https://www.ftb.ca.gov/tax-pros/efile/business-eFile-waiver-request.asp
