In Lacerte 2024 had the program open and went back to it after a while and there was a popup asking me if I would recommend Lacerte Hosting which I do not have (not sure if this is related.) When I closed that I noticed there were no clients showing and a popup error message you see above. I cannot access any clients in any module although looking in the folders they are all there. I checked all data paths and are correct. I uninstalled and reinstalled 2024 including using the Lacerte Tool Hub and did not work. The only thing that worked temporarily was restoring a client backup I had from a few days ago (restored entire Idata, Pdata etc folders.) Then hours later the above message again. Anyone else having this issue? Anyone know how to resolve?
Generally a full shut down of the computer is needed. Things get cleaned up when you restart.

Thanks George, yes I did try that to no avail.
I had to use the 2024 Lacerte Websetup to fix this issue. Type that in to your search bar on windows start up bar. It fixed the issue for me.
