Does anyone know if the 2024 tax planner will be updated for tax projections to include the new increased standard deductions, state tax deductions, social security deduction, etc.?

There's a 'social security deduction' ?  Guess I better take some (more) CPE.

Oh come on now you know what was meant.  A deduction for people 65 and older, regardless of whether they collect Social Security, but even then they may not qualify.  Just enough to throw some red meat to the mob.

Yep... but 'wording' is important, no?

But I thought I read something from the Social Security Administration that said the new tax law eliminated taxes on Social Benefits for nearly 90% of Social Security beneficiaries.  Are you saying the federal government doesn't always tell us the truth?  I guess I am going to have to pay closer attention to my Congressman when he says that he is watching out for Minnesota Medicaid recipients when he voted yes on that bill.
