Answered: 2021 4797 and a Passive Activity Loss

2021 1040. Different CPA prepared a 4797. This shows a disposition of a Loan Fee (with a sale date of 2018 - don't know why it took them 3 years to discover that.)

This loan fee is also separately listed on the 8582 with an allowed PAL and a carryover PAL to 2022.

I don't know how to replicate that. I'm doing an amended 1040 so I want to match it prior to clicking the box to amend.

Sometimes there's no way to replicate an obviously-incorrect return. Get as close as you can, click to amend, edit to match the return as filed.
