Hi- the 1040 had an amount applied to 2022. We now want the additional refund from the 1040X applied as well. Lacerte is showing the first amount applied as a negative number on line 22 of the X. Line 23 is showing the total of the two. If I take out the last entry of the amended screen - amount originally applied, the 1040X is correct, but the 1040 shows the original amount applied as refunded. I have spent 45 minutes on the phone with Lacerte with no resolution. Has anyone else had this problem and found an answer?
