I have a client who qualified for essential minimum coverage (and it's deemed affordable) under their employer plan and decided to not take it and go with CoveredCA instead. They received subsidy which they now have to pay back. How do I show in Lacerte that their APTC shown on the 1095-A needs to be repaid due to info received on the 1095-C.
Second part to this question, the spouse has self-employment income, can they still deduct premiums paid via CoveredCA for SE purposes or is it disallowed because they should have been on the employer plan?
