Mapping Question for the Client Information -Email Address

Fairly new user here- We have our own external system where we map data and import into the Lacerte software. Our software creates an xml file for importing. My users have asked to have the email address on the Client Information Section populated. I know it is series 100001, but how / where can I find the associated code #? On all the other sections if I use F1, I can find a Series and Code #. TYIA

In the program itself, on the input page (even Page1/Client Info), if you click or right-click (I do not recall which) in the GREY BAR at the top of the page where the page is named, you can "show codes".  This will put in the reference name/# of each field, so much as fits.
Sadly, page1/client info is rife with SHORT fields that have LONG NAMES (like 8-10 characters), so you may not find it.

If you are familiar with working with "field c1_0" (client number), then know that the "Client EMail address" is "c1_57", and the SPOUSE address is "c1_76".

If at some point you see "C0000057US", that is the corresponding reference to the Client email.  Likewise, "C0000076US" would be for the spouse.
(These are the OLD way of field reference, such as with a GL Bridge file.  [Which still works, by the way, from the old 2008 SDK for that process.])

.

Finally, in a frenzy of passing on knowledge, let it become known to you of the files located in:
  C:\Lacerte\##tax\???\usdbdef.?##
(Where "##" is the last two digits of the tax year, and "???" is the three-letter module, and "?" is the single-letter module referent.)
(NOTE that "???" and "?" do not directly correspond all the time!  Yes, "F" and "FID" are the same, but "N" and "GFT" are not...)

The USdbDef files are a tab-separated (so easy to copy/paste into your spreadsheet program) list of fields BY DATABASE FILE (left-most column).  "Negative" fields are the "G" fields to the left of "0"/client #; non-negative fields are in regular order to the right of "0"/client #.

Lots of good stuff in USdbDef.

Thank you so much for your response. Appears I now have that mapped and appreciate your help in how to show the codes on the Client Information page.
