Yea, I have this one too. My situation is Lacerte has no subtraction on the MO-A, correctly, as the capital gain/loss on the Federal is (3,000). So, the line should be zero, as it is, but this diagnostic is there. AND it is also an e-file diagnostic so we can't bypass it.

I have this same diag. With a minimal capital loss and it won't let me zero it either. Or rather, if I do zero it the diag doesn't go away.

Little bit of an update, I have confirmed with MODOR that the capital loss is allowed since it is part of AGI. There will be NO addback. This is a Lacerte issue at this point and are at their mercy to get it corrected in the software.
There is a trick to bypassing e-file diagnostics, fyi....

We are also getting this diagnostic. It appears to be affecting clients with capital loss carryforwards. Lacerte what is the timeline for a fix?
Thank you
