The following diagnostic is generating:

Entries have been made in Screen <lac>37.011</lac> - California Miscellaneous to credit the overpayment to next year in excess of the available overpayment on Form 568 line 11 - Overpayment. The program has limited the credit to next year amount to the allowable overpayment.

Solution:

Entries in "Overpayment credited to next year's fee (-1=all)" or "Overpayment credited to next year's tax (-1=all)" in screen 37.011 will generate this diagnostic if the amount entered is greater than the refund on form 568.

This isn't an indication there's an error on the return. Lacerte automatically limits the amount applied to the balance available to apply. There's no reason to enter -1 into this field because Lacerte doesn't automatically apply this overpayment.
