    The following diagnostic is generating:

    Schedule D, Item # {PrefixNum} : Value at Date of Death missing.

    "-1"  = zero in Lacerte.

    Is this for a 706?

    It is for a 706. I'm used to using a '-1" for a 1040 or 1041, but when i used it for the 706, it shows at "-1", rather than zero. It gets rid of the diagnostic, but I'd rather have the diagnostic than a "-1". Open to any other suggestion you may have.

    Since you're paper filing, live with the Diagnostic.
