Dozens of 1099-B Transactions

troberso4

I have a client that is a day trader with nearly 60 entries for form 4797.  I welcome any suggestions to forgo the burden of entering them one by one.

FYI, you posted this in the Idea Exchange section for Intuit Tax Advisor. In the future, you'll get more visibility on your post and likely more answers by posting it in the section related to your software.

I batch 1099-B transactions in summary. If you feel led to, attach the 1099-B support as a PDF to your return, but I've personally stopped doing it. The IRS has all the Box A/D data, and we sign the returns under penalty of perjury regarding the B/C/D/E/4797 data, so I think it's a waste of energy. Ymmv.
