That is because that is no longer a valid code. Have you looked at the Schedule C Instructions?   Nonstore Retailers Nonstore retailers sell all types of merchandise using such methods as Internet, mail-order catalogs, interactive television, or direct sales. These types of Retailers should select the PBA associated with their primary line of products sold. For example, establishments primarily selling prescription and non-prescription drugs, select PBA code 456110 Pharmacies & Drug Retailers. https://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/i1040sc.pdf#page=18

I'm thinking of all of the people that will yell about discrimination because somebody else gets to procrastinate longer than they can.  🤣
I don't have a citation for this, but I have something stuck in my head that Intuit said it would be available in late February (or maybe even March???).

@Factswrite wrote: Attorney used the assessed value on tax bill as FMV on DOD,   I don't know how your area works, but in my area the valuation for property tax is well over a year before the actual real estate taxes are due.  So it is possible that the "assessed value" is actually from the prior year.

@IRonMaN wrote: Ok, so now I have a client with a Medicaid waiver payment that the IRS tells me to back off it by way of line 8 on schedule 1.  They also received a frontline worker payment which the state says to put on line 8 of schedule 1.  Life is wonderful until you go to the Minnesota return and I have an error message telling me I can't subtract the payment on M1M since I don't have an amount on line 8 of the federal return ---------------- because I have a negative amount entered on that line because of the netting of the two items.  After I post this, I am stopping off at Walmart for a job application.  I hear stocking shelves pays pretty well these days 😭   Interestingly, the one glitch that I had (I entered an amount too large) was also with the 2014-7, but I seem to have gotten past it.  But I haven't tried e-filing it yet (I don't have the 8829). Walmart employees need to deal with random shooters, many 'Karens' and low pay.  It much sounds better than using ProSeries.  🤣

We get lots of surprises, but most of them aren't good.  😁

Yes, she can claim it again.  There is no limit.

Maybe they could put a picture of the 8915-F on the splash screen.  😂

Are you asking how to enter a 1099-R? A "hardship" does not affect the tax return.

Yes, you can have both on your computer at the same time with no problem.  I think many (or most) Basic users do that, including me.  You can even have them both open at the same time because they are two completely different programs. The navigation is different between them, but once you find the form or worksheet, the data-entry is identical between them.
You can access Professional for free.  You can even prepare it for free (but not print or e-file) But in order to print or e-file a return, you would need to pay the PPR fee.

If they are items separate from the building, like appliances or carpeting, yes, you can use Bonus on the LOWER of (a) the cost and (b) the Fair Market Value when they first became available for use in the rental. But prior improvements to the building are all part of the building, which is depreciated over 27.5 years, starting when the building becomes available for rent.
I've never entered a 1098 into ProSeries.  I would just do the math and enter the personal interest in the appropriate spot on Schedule A and the rental interest on the appropriate spot in Schedule E.
